Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Melissa's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

She wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into her face.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Apothecary born in the past three hundred years. A fanatic, her devotion to her small selection of gods is unquestionable. She claims to be doing their will and will base all her actions on whether or not they would be pleasing to the gods.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Eleanor was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She plays an instrument quite well.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She sought a place where she would be rewarded solely on the merits of her skills. This search led her directly into Miner work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miner work suited her well, and with each successful project, she earned more gold and more respect from her peers. She then took over the family business and is one of the better Miner for hire.
