Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. Any perceived weakness will be pressed and exploited. She is seen as merciless and passionate.

History: She got into the Merchant business at a young age. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Jacoba grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Jacoba. She's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Personality: He loves telling others what to do and how they should feel about things. He is motivated by money and will often try and persuade people to work for cheap. He haggles over everything, upselling his goods and buying cheap. He is persistent in everything.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. His family was being driven out of business by several neighboring competitors. The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. He saw this and took pride in his mother's willingness to do anything to win. After months of barely getting by, Theobald managed to ambush a major caravan with a load of valuables. Instantly wealthy, he made his way to the capital under a new identity.

Motivation: His spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion; and he is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions

His father was a mechanic, and taught him how to fix just about anything. He has achieved small success as a Performer.
