History: She was born in a small plains village. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a large cave. She would wander through that large cave and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Mary took refuge in the large cave and found the beat up scythe and armor she uses now. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is susceptible to being scared and is in actuality easily frightened. He likes to tell stories.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, John was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. Through the years after John was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. John's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has since lost track of the people in his past.

History: Beatrice hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a daughter. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.
