Personality: He is a very happy person and has lots of energy. To put it simply, he's a very lovable idiot. He disdains his fellow southerners, claiming they make him look unintelligent just for using an accent.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

Motivation: He is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences his actions; and wants to have a good time and be beloved

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and expand his business

Description: She wears a robe, a symbol of the four houses of cards around her neck, and a longsword on her belt. Her hair is always cut to a buzz. She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: She barks her statements quickly and with little fuss. She prefers small words and is at her heart utilitarian. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Maynild was born in the east. At a young age she loved to build and create. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. Recently a tribe of goblins attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Maynild fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.
