He prefers to carry a shield, but if one is not available he will default to his lance. His white hair is well kept and his bushy mustache is tapered upwards at the ends. He has gleaming, smiling brown eyes.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. Ralf enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Ralf alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to drow demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down.

Personality: Quiet and reserved she prefers to listen than to talk. She will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. She is harsh and unforgiving.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Emma was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Emma's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things.

Personality: He will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken his opponents. Despite his formidable combat skills he remains a coward. He will pursue extreme courses of action in the short term, confident that they cannot fail.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
