History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She eventually got the idea of being the protector of her homeland from reading books, and has made it her duty.

Personality: Confrontational and typically high on some drug or another. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. She was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. She has dedicated herself to building a better trade route.

Personality: He can speak with the dead, and doesn't see much difference between the living and dead. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born into a rich family. His arcane abilities were realized during a raid on his village. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: He uses money and sex appeal to get what he needs.
