Personality: Frederick hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate him. It was this clingy personality that held back his painting career. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Frederick was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family She has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to her frivolously. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

Motivation: To find somewhere to settle down; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac

History: Giselle was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A freak accident while working with her Stableman father left her crippled. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the north.
