History: She served in the navy to pay for her family's outstanding loans. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Emmeline and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Peter was born on a far northern plains where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Bricklayer. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To prove his worth to the world; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
