His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Charles is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: A powerful brothel owner made him what he is. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his mother and father. His mother taught him the rudiments of the Bather arts, while his father instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. He worked as a nervous Bather and found it very stressful. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: To be a Body Guard again; and he is unsatisfied with his job

History: Her history is one of pain. She was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves her parents kept. Her first spouse was a Miller, they had one son, but her spouse won total custody. Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Miller they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Merchant, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: She is almost excessively polite to everyone, even when angry. She is kind towards other women and children and will generally offer women help without question. Others will generally need to prove themselves to her.

History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. Avelina was orphaned to a temple shortly after her birth. She was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above herself and to hold her god always in her heart. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Her religion dominates her actions; and she has a rivalry with the church that dominates her actions
