Personality: Patrick wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so he tries to act the part. He does a good job, for the most part... Patrick enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for his love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

She is missing an eye and her face is severely sunburned. Her one remaining eye shines violet.

Personality: She is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help her friends. She considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. When she's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, she's doing singing.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Herbalist. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Herbalist responsibilities is difficult.

History: He was born in the west, but his parents moved at a very young age to the south. A gifted student he started as a Sellsword, but he got bored and became a Courier. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious northern family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Don abandoned his home at a very young age, living in the fields and plains. He survived everyday through hunting and stealing from passersby. He did whatever it took for him to survive. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for him; and he doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes
