Personality: He has always had a great fascination with Human culture. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gilbert is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Born in the south his family was never financially stable. A few years later when the west was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Williamina wants to be seen as a stoic, levelheaded, noble Paladin, so she tries to act the part. She does a good job, for the most part... She is a bit of a xeno-phobe, disliking non-Humans.

History: She was raised in a island tribe. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature quarterstaff.
