His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Hugh is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Hugh lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He dropped out of school to support his sick mother, and resented it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Shoemaker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Body Guard, and he later adopted a second daughter.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Her father was a mechanic, and taught her how to fix just about anything. She has gone from town to town till she finds a spot where she can set up a sustainable business.

Motivation: Someone believes her a fraud; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.

Personality: She loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from her. She is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: She comes from a rich western family. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Dean hails from a village terrorized by orcs. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. He remains aloof and afraid to be himself due to all the ideals others have placed upon him.

Motivation: Revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by orcs, and he desires to right it
