History: Born in the east her family was never financially stable. Through the years after Matilda was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Matilda's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, Matilda and her spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. A true patriot, Gomory would do anything for his country. He is fiercely protective of his fellow citizens and foreign allies.

History: Gomory hails from a village terrorized by brigands. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He left for the north, certain he would find work there.

Personality: Her tongue was cut out and she uses sign language. She feeds upon the attention of others.

History: From birth she was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. By chance she met her brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: An old rival family wants her found; and marry her brother to traveling adventurers

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the east; and she wants nothing more than to rejoin the army
