Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He has all his life been fascinated with writing.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. In his 15th year, while out on a day-trip, he returned to find his hometown burning and destroyed. He found his father impaled in their home, and his mother beheaded. He saw the man who walked out, and charged him in a blind rage. The man easily evaded and defeated him, leaving him to live broken and terrified. After a long history of fighting, Percival and his spouse have recently divorced.

Personality: He is a Marshal first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He will do just about anything if he becomes convinced it is for someone's true love, of this he is easily convinced.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He has achieved small success as a Marshal.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. More though she will beg to come along on any journeys. She will attempt to stowaway on any ship she can in the hopes that it will get her further away.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
