History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. Through the years after Raymond was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Raymond's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: She was born to a criminal king-pin and mafia family Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Afterwards he claimed he had encountered illithids who tried to eat his hand. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.
