Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. While he appears to be a normal Human, he's... not quite right. Perhaps he's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that he plain doesn't fit in. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She enjoys reading and quiet.

History: She was born in the east. Through the years after Mary was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Mary's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She left for the east, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. From there he went from mercenary job to mercenary job. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.
