When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. Being a Guard kept her interest for a while, but then she became depressed and bored. So she turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

He does not regard money as being a problem because it has never been a problem for him. He lives in a bit of an ivory tower believing all problems are one quick intervention away from being solved.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Money/treasure; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

History: She got into the Weaver business at a young age. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: She will attempt to ambush and attack anyone she thinks she can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. If successful, she will try to sell them to her slave-trader contact; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever

His mother took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
