History: Born in the east to a Courier, Gilbert learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. He has worked as a Courier like his father before him.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the north. Hugolina liked to wander the woods near her home when she was young, something she still likes to do at least once a week. She never liked modest clothing or shoes, so she would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and she developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: She was born into a rich family. A few years later when the south was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
