History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Through the years after Charles was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Charles's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Description: This woman is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of her veins is visible when she is not flexing. Her shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for her due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. Her black hair is long and unkept. Her brown eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Fletcher. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She is a bit of a macho woman and will challenge people to random contests of strength and skill, and invite them to random hunting and fishing trip.

History: She got into the Fletcher business at a young age. When she was little, her rather wealthy family often ventured across the desert to a summer home near a old dungeon. She would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and she was stranded inside. Her family spent the next few days looking for her, and could only assume she was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the desert due to the painful memories there. Avelina took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up kukri and armor she uses now. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

He walks with a slouch but will stand straight to his full 6'6" when asserting himself. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.

History: He was raised happily, as a normal child born to his father and mother. His father taught him the rudiments of the Mason arts, while his mother instructed him in etiquette, music and courtly manner. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Born to a Apothecary, her father struggled to pay the bills. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: Many dire rats want her driven away; and several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge
