Description: His right thumb is blackened and bruised, but otherwise he appears quite healthy. He has a large black mantle and cape that has been intricately interwoven into his grey robe. He wears his red hair up in a very large beehive style do. His hazel eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: He is a man who does what he needs to. He will acquiesce to black mail and extortion to avoid trouble. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Aldous grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Aldous. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Bookbinder they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Glassblower, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Glassblower responsibilities is difficult; and he wants nothing more than to rejoin the army

Description: She is wearing colorful clothing, dressed as a Soapmaker, but does not cut a very imposing figure. She walks with a slouch but will stand straight to her full 5'5" when asserting herself. Her long auburn hair reaches down to her waist. She tend to wears goggles to shield her eyes.

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Joan is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. She's also a talented Marshal, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Description: This dark-skinned male wears black robes with leather pauldrons. Though occasionally he wears more armor. He prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available he will default to his shield. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. He keeps his chestnut hair in a pixie cut. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Norman is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his sisters into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: Born in the west his family was never financially stable. Being born in the west, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the west for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: To unite with his sister; and he is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally

Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. As long as the job gets done he does not care how it got done.

History: Gilbert hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. In his 18th year, his parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Gilbert alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. Recently he has begun working with bootleggers and crooks.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and a deep hatred of dire rats
