History: He comes from a rich western family. Norman was born on a far western island where he grew up under the tutelage of his father, an expert Scribe. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

She then took over the family business and is one of the better Cartwright for hire.

Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.
