History: Shane was born the youngest of three triplets. He was married off to the eldest child of a minor noble. His spouse died of illness and he inherited everything. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: He dislikes all the random violence that takes place in the north. He also has developed a complete distrust of the Carter profession.

History: He was raised in a desert tribe. Norman liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He was granted druidic powers by his dying brother.

Motivation: To be a Carter again; and he wants revenge against dire rats

Personality: She is unhospitable to her core. Her small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. She has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Her childhood dream was to be a Tailor, but she was a colossal failure. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: To unite with her brother; and further expansion of business

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: Wants her loneliness to end.
