History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Nicholas isn't afraid of most anything. He has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. He has a taste for the finer things and spends a great deal of money on luxuries, some more exotic than others.

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He inherited a moderately successful company from his father. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
