History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His mother had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Personality: Calm and collected, she is a well trained Barrister. She has a habit of throwing herself into exceedingly dangerous situations.

History: Born in the west to a Barrister, Ermina learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Barrister. She's also a talented Merchant, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She wants random interesting trinkets and junk, hates to throw anything away; and expand her business

Personality: He has a massive crush on the younger sibling of the Gardener who has hired him part-time. He is fiercely devoted to his father, and views his father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating him from his legal half-sister.

History: He is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: An old rival family wants him found; and his relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

History: Born to a Brewer, her father struggled to pay the bills. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
