History: Bertram was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his mother was employed at, doing general labor. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: Gifted from a young age, Williamina studied abroad. From there she went from mercenary job to mercenary job. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature morningstar.
