History: Herleva lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She inherited a moderately successful company from her father. Under her leadership it has flourished, and using capital from her venture she effectively owns an entire region. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Description: A hulking man with gigantic muscles, he wears a black shirt with thin tan vertical stripes and green pants. His long silver hair reaches down to his waist. He has several tiny topaz earrings on each ear.

Personality: He hates brigands. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when brigands swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. Thomas was orphaned to a temple shortly after his birth. He was raised by the temple staff to care always for others above himself and to hold his god always in his heart. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His first spouse was a Painter, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent mother; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers

He prefers to carry a dagger, but if one is not available he will default to his sword. His black hair is matted, messy, and big. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines amber.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He uses divination through singing.

History: Trained by his mother for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gilbert was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
