Personality: He is quite gentle and does not know the full extent of his strength. He works very hard to maintain that gentleness. He is a very good compulsive liar and kleptomaniac.

History: Balimaar was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He has dedicated himself to building a better world.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister.

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her divine abilities were realized during a raid on her village. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.
