Description: He is an exceptionally muscular looking northern young adult. He is well dressed, but even with his fine clothing he looks run-down. Beneath his clothing is a huge mess of scar tissue. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his gray eyes.

Personality: Aside from being a little slow due to sleep deprivation he is generally quite perceptive. He notices little details and can draw good conclusions from them. He lacks moral complications. He does what he is told to by employers but not much else. He spends his money on whatever he fancies at the time.

History: He was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He has worked as a Dilettante like his mother before him.

Description: A pudgy man standing about 6'0" has a big stupid grin on his face most of the time. He wears tattered old clothes. His auburn hair has been sun bleached extensively. His eyes are likewise brown. His teeth are yellowed and unaligned.

Personality: He resents people who mock his appearance or him, so he has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Mason, but he was a colossal failure. He tends to his Adventurer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: Cocky and sure of himself, he believes he is the best Layabout born in the past three hundred years. He would rather hide behind his crafts than deal with other people.

History: He was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Layabout for hire.

Motivation: Sabotage a competitor.

Description: This man is unhealthily muscled, almost every single one of his veins is visible when he is not flexing. His shirts and pants tend to be short and undersized for him due to the difficulty of finding a good tailor. His chestnut hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a deerstalker hat. His eyes are likewise blue.

Personality: His tongue was cut out and he uses sign language. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, he was no stranger to responsibility. Cursed with vampirism at a very young age, Gerard has worked very hard to control his curse. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
