History: Born in the west to a Seamstress, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his father's area of expertise. Ostracized due to the psionic powers of his oldest brother, he and his siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. After a long history of fighting, Jocelyn and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and wants to work out more often

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has dedicated himself to building a better kind of golem.

He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Miller. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Obtaining odd cultural Human artifacts is his passion; and meet up once more with his childhood friend
