History: Born in the north to a Merchant, Jocelyn learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Jocelyn was born on a far northern desert where he grew up under the tutelage of his mother, an expert Merchant. He inherited the family business which he has now maintained for 12 years.

History: Trained by her mother for as long as she can remember she had it drilled in her head that it was her duty to serve her country. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. She has been saving her money to try and buy her brother's freedom.
