Description: This late middle aged man prefers to wear fine silks, though has several suits of combat armor for his hunting needs and is in decent physical shape. His white hair is thinning but still full. His green eyes lackadaisically let the world flow into them.
Personality: He is calm most of the time but flees social interaction. More though he will beg to come along on any journeys. He will attempt to stowaway on any ship he can in the hopes that it will get him further away.
History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when goblins swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a goblins raid, leaving Ernest alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.
Motivation: He has passion for adventuring and risk; and many goblins want him driven away

Description: He is a paragon of his species. He is larger and stronger than most Humans. His skin is light but he possesses many tan ritualistic tattoos. He dresses in black turtlenecks beneath a tan coat with black slacks. Sporting a chestnut mohawk and bushy mustache this man's hair draws a lot of attention. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He is a logical person and will generally grow upset if things defy logic and science.
History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Justin was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Justin's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his brother; and to reunite with his absent mother

Description: This man stands a little under 5'6" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized black coat. He has moderate length red hair. His eyes, though not visible through his cowl, are green.
Personality: He is highly sensitive about his name. He loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Further he is a bit of a stoner and is frequently out of it.
History: Gunter was born to in a poor docking district. He spent his early days working in the same smith shop his father was employed at, doing general labor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He got away from his former life and has fallen to alcoholism.
Motivation: He's looking for his big break; and to protect his home

Description: She is a woman of bearing and well nourished. She wears a tattered pair of loose green pants, a matching torn shirt, and a visible pair of similar condition same color briefs. Her hair, while still mostly brown, has prominent grey streaks. Her eyes are amber and beady.
Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.
History: Born to a poor family in the city she treasured whatever gifts she got. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Healer hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and she has decided she is irredeemable
