History: Sold as a small child to a slaver, Avice was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Bowyer. She's also a talented Butcher, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Personality: He is overprotective of those who hire his services. He takes great joy in being the best Brewer in town.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. He has worked as a Brewer like his mother before him.

Description: 6'6" and muscular, this northern man likes to wear darkened spectacles and heavy clothing, no matter the weather. He wears his hair in dreadlocks. He is baby faced.

Personality: A grumpy guy he will invite people to lunch so he can critique them. Yet he still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Justin is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: He comes from a rich northern family. Through the years after Justin was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Justin's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He used his abilities to travel the world and help people.

She conceals her quarterstaff with her veritable burlap sack of a shirt. She sports a flattop hair cut. Her gray eyes peer out from beneath her small grey hat.

Personality: She takes her job very seriously, in part because she fears she cannot get a new one. She misses her home and complains about the freezing weather, even in summer.

History: The child of northern immigrants she idolized her mother. Her childhood dream was to be a Body Guard, but she was a colossal failure. She has set out to sabotage the competition.
