Description: This northern man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears a robe, a symbol of strength around his neck, and a pickaxe on his belt. He wears his silver hair down. His eyes are green and catlike.
Personality: He is always cheerful, even with a hangover, and is always willing to go through all sorts of trouble to help his friends. He considers everything a fun event and doesn't hold grudges. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.
History: He comes from a rich northern family. He inherited a moderately successful company from his mother. Under his leadership it has flourished, and using capital from his venture he effectively owns an entire region. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it.

Description: He prefers to wear the grand gowns of high society. He carries his fan with him everywhere and carries himself as the perfect gentleman. His skin is fair and his fingers are delicate and long. His red hair is cut short with large spiked bangs in the front. His amber eyes show the wear and tear of someone lonely with a great burden to carry.
Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.
History: He was born at the edge of vast island. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a son. Some 8 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Theodoric never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his father had trained him before.
Motivation: He desires power and/or immortality; and a need for knowledge about a nearby landmark

Description: His skin has the orange glow of too much sun. He wears light armors faded through time and improper care. His head has been shaved. His gray eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He has two modes he varies between. On the job he is cold, steely and emotionless. Off the job he is a party animal. He uses his nature as a weapon; he likes to lead opponents to think him in distress.
History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Fortune-teller. He struck the Fortune-teller job and began his own company from there.
Motivation: He'd like to take his coworkers down a peg; and retire the richest man in the west

Personality: Ermina is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. To her fellows she is seen as friendly and intelligent, but is angry and unforgiving to the so called fatcats and any who do and have associated with them.
History: She was born in the west. She dropped out of school before completing her studies. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.
Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and someone believes her a fraud
