History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. His first spouse was a Bather, they had one son, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of philosophers.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Guard and was forced into it by his family.

His partner is his best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. His father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted him to inherit them. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

She typically wears a sleeveless long coat of deep brown leather and dull grey iron scale mail. Her long golden hair reaches down to her waist. She has a very pronounced jaw and large eyebrows. She wears rectangular glasses with silver brims.

Personality: She will rave to anyone who will listen. Her respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to her, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, she tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in her reactions to snap at those who irritate her, Emma is combative with any and all who dare try her patience in the slightest.
