After coming to the age of reason, Avelina took it upon herself to study the divine arts in their entirety; because of this, she was labeled a dark omen and banished from her homeland. When her spouse passed she lost her only source of income but claims to her sons to still be retired.

Without her spouse to temper her she grew out of control. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Dyer they were divorced and she won custody of their daughter. She worked as a Locksmith, and she later adopted a second daughter.
