History: Rosamund hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when gnolls swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. In her 14th year, her parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Mary alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She now owns her own business.

Motivation: Balancing her hectic life and new Scribe responsibilities is difficult; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and she desires to right it

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister; and she is a bit of a kleptomaniac
