Personality: While he acts the brute, he is far gentler than he would appear. He is skeptical of what others tell him and is slow to trust.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. Recently a tribe of illithids attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Jocelyn fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. Through the years after Anne was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Personality: He is shy and timid. He has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. He dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. His biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: His necromantic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. He dropped out of school to support his sick father, and resented it. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Navigator they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Carpenter, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Carpenter and was forced into it by his family; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister

Description: She is a husky woman, who wears tattered old clothes. She is bald on top and has large white tufts of hair around her ears. Her green eyes peer out from beneath her wide-brimmed brown hat.

Personality: She will use flattery and sarcasm to attack and weaken her opponents. Despite her formidable combat skills she remains a coward. She never wears the same outfit twice, unless she absolutely has to.

History: She was raised in a forest tribe. Her parents were killed by dire rats in a raid when she was still a young child. The dire rats captured her, and made her a slave and general play-thing. She was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to her deformed appearance. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.
