History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. She was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform During her travels, Helen and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Helen discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Helen fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Laborer. He hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

History: Balimaar hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered painting. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.
