History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when dire rats swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. A gypsy cursed him at a young age, leading to his ugly appearance. He became a Animal Trainer soon after.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'7" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He is bundled in multiple layers and is prepared for a desert trek wearing a turban that covers his face most of the time. His hair is long and blonde with streaks of chestnut, and is pulled back with small green clips. His beard is chestnut, braided, and well cared for. His half smiles and hazel eyes are beguiling and draw you in.

Personality: He can speak with the recently deceased. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Gifted from a young age, Patrick studied abroad. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. One night he noticed a nearby shooting star which he hiked out to see where it landed. It turned out to be an ancient artifact of some kind. He has done his darndest to repair it but it is currently non-functional.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he will attempt to ambush and attack anyone he thinks he can take on alone and try to knock them out with non-lethal damage. if successful, he will try to sell them to his slave-trader contact

History: She comes from a rich western family. She moved from fad to fad and when she turned 15 she discovered poetry. She now mingles about in high society.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, she has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. She is vehemently anti-magic. All of it is evil and corrupting in her opinion.

History: A powerful slaver made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has drifted apart from her friends and has been working freelance. Each gave each other a copy of their signature pickaxe.
