Her partner is her best friend in the world. The two are very close despite being more or less each other's opposites. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her singing with anyone who is interested.

History: Avelina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. Her homeland was ravaged by war and she spent much of her life rebuilding it. She became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. His parents were killed by giants in a raid when he was still a young child. The giants captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Personality: He is a Scribe first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He refers to his adoptive mother for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: When he was but 8 years old his parents immigrated from the east. Before the accident, he was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. He was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and expand his business
