Fortune-teller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Fortune-teller for the past few years.

During her travels, Jane and her party rested in a cavern that was (unknown to them) infused with powerful dark magic. Upon awakening, Jane discovered the rest of her party dead, transformed into horrible, mindless undead versions of their former selves. Jane fled the cavern, stopping for breath at a small pool, and only then realizing her own horrible transformation.
