History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a gnolls raid, leaving Lance alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He bought a glaive and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is greedy; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by gnolls, and he desires to right it

History: He was born in a small mountains village. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it.
