Description: This slender man stands about 5'1". He wears many layers of old clothing at all times. His brown hair is knotted and matted. His voice is smooth and creepy, always level, but somehow just slightly unnerving.

Personality: He shows great sympathy to all travelers. He's the type to buy drinks and listen to their stories. He is however nostalgic and wants to reunite with his old comrades. He has some compunction and patriotism and will work for the government before all other clients.

History: He was born at the edge of vast island. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the island to a summer home near a old dungeon. He would wander through that old dungeon and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the island due to the painful memories there. Bernard took refuge in the old dungeon and found the beat up halberd and armor he uses now. He has dedicated himself to building a better village for his children.

Personality: She is curt in most of her responses. She prefers to keep her word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. On top of that she is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to her employer will always come first she doesn't like to hit women.

History: The child of eastern immigrants she idolized her mother. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

Personality: A deeply religious man he believes everything happens for a reason. He is an amazing painter.

History: Heward lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. He was an apprentice working in his mother's forge. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Expand his business; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion
