Personality: She tends to agree with only herself unless someone else's opinion sounds like she can profit from it. She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is afraid of women and trembles around them

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. Through the years after Elysande was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Elysande's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has made many enemies by not giving into corruption and outing many instances of it.

History: Born in the west to a Engraver, Elysande learned a great deal about her mother's area of expertise. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Engraver. She was always very intelligent and has formed a secret society of specialists.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. His father was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his father was legitimate. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: He is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs; and he is wracked by social anxiety
