History: Ermina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her father was employed at, doing general labor. A few years later when the north was not economically sound they moved to her current location. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: She was born several months after her father was called into army service. Her father was a soldier and died while she was still young. Margery was left her father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. As of late she has set up a hidden staging nest where she ambushes people she hires for escort.

History: Justin lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. At some point he was captured by illithids and was tortured. After several years of this he finally managed to escape. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister
