History: Mary hails from a village terrorized by illithids. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Glassblower hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

History: A studious child she never was much for a social life, not because she was unlikable, but because she did not seek it out. Ostracized due to the martial powers of her oldest brother, she and her siblings struck out on their own. In the process these unassuming Humans became a terror of the countryside. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.

History: Born the oldest of a large religious western family, she was no stranger to responsibility. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.
