He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way south. He now owns his own business.

Her eyes are green and catlike.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Ahlyssa embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She loves teas. She is very sensitive about her face. To blow off anger she lifts weights and to control her otherwise explosive temper she works out a lot.

History: She was born in the east. Before the accident, she was one of the most outspoken anti-Human activists. She was mortally wounded, saved by a kind and fast-acting Human doctor. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

He wears a small hat to cover his moderate length chestnut hair. He was beautiful and young once, which still shows through his age, but it is a faded beauty.

Personality: He is curt in most of his responses. He prefers to keep his word usage to a minimum to avoid giving away unnecessary information. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing painting.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Cook work with an outfit from a few towns over. Cook work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He became a Cook soon after.

History: Born to a Locksmith, her mother struggled to pay the bills. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Her spouse's relatives view her with great suspicion; and retire the richest woman in the south
