History: Rosalind lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but she insists her mother was legitimate. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Personality: Cocky and sure of herself, she believes she is the best Laborer born in the past three hundred years. She takes great pride in her work and is very well organized. Her planner is full of calendar events.

History: She was born into a rich family. Like her mother and her sister before her, after school she went straight into learning to become a Laborer. Unlike her family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, she wanted to work in the city. She has been working here for the past few years.

History: He was born into a rich family. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
