Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Katherine embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Raised by wardens she was only a novice when orcs swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. At some point she was captured by orcs and was tortured. After several years of this she finally managed to escape. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.
