History: Hugolina was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. When money was particularly tight she was walking through alleys when she overheard a Tanner hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. After a long history of fighting, Hugolina and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC; and retire the richest woman in the south

Personality: He hates dire rats. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He comes from a rich southern family. At a young age his father died while driving off some dire rats. His mother being the stubborn sort decided to stay and helped train him in hand crossbow use. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to dire rats demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He has money and likes to spend it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

His respect, as difficult as one would find it to earn, is unwavering; those who more than prove themselves to him, a bar set well above any reasonable standard, he tolerates in varying degrees. Though less modest and more hasty in his reactions to snap at those who irritate him, Gunter is combative with any and all who dare try his patience in the slightest.

History: Born to a pair of adventurers, Gunter grew up listening to his father's many stories. Over the years he perfected his riding and shooting skills. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.
